The Basic Home Maintenance Orientation is great for homeowners who want to learn how to take care of the fundamental parts of their home. During this approximately 4 hour service, we will walk you through many of the basic home maintenance items, as well as provide you a template to help you keep track of the maintenance activities of your home.
Note: The Basic Home Maintenance Orientation covers everything from the Home Orientation service as well.

Hot Water Tank / Water Heater Preventative Maintenance
Sump Pump Tests
Smoke / CO Detector Testing
Fire Extinguisher Inspection
Leak checking (roof, basement, plumbing fixtures)
If deficiencies are found during the orientation, depending on the size/complexity of the repair , we may be able to repair it on the spot, however if it is larger/complex in nature, either a quote or a advisory will be given.
The Advanced Home Maintenance Orientation is a service for home owners who want to learn the nitty gritty parts maintenance of their home. This service covers everything from the Basic Home Maintenance Orientation and much more.

Our trained technicians follow a rigorous checklist tailored to the current season to prepare your home for changing weather.
1. HVAC & Air Quality
Filter Replacement: Replace HVAC filters every 3 months to improve air quality and furnace efficiency.
Vent Cleaning: Check air vents and returns to ensure proper airflow.
A/C Check: Clean AC coils and condenser unit (summer/spring).
2. Plumbing & Water Safety
Leak Inspection: Inspect under sinks, toilets, and around water heaters for slow leaks or rust.
Drain Maintenance: Clear slow drains and sanitize garbage disposals.
Water Heater Care: Flush water heater to remove sediment buildup (annualized across visits).
Sump Pump Test: Test operation of the sump pump to ensure it’s ready for rain.
3. Safety & Electrical
Detector Testing: Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, replacing batteries as needed.
Safety Device Check: Check fire extinguishers and emergency shut-offs.
GFCI Outlets: Test all Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter outlets for proper functioning.
